Join Inwood Canoe Club and Friends of Inwood Hill Park for a morning of trash pickup along the Hudson River shoreline.
Volunteers should wear sturdy, closed-toed shoes and clothing they can get dirty. We recommend bringing a hat, work gloves, sunscreen, and your own reusable water bottle. ICC will provide grabbers, some work gloves, and hand sanitizer. This site is suitable for elementary-aged children with appropriate adult supervision.
Meeting place: Inwood Canoe Club, 360 Dyckman Street, NYC (down the path and south of The Hudson Restaurant).
After you register, you can stay in touch with us at inwoodcanoe.openhouse@gmail.com. Be sure to complete your 2024 season waiver before you arrive at the boathouse.
