Talk on Restoration of the Historic Lock Chambers at Geldeston Locks

The lock chambers at Geldeston Locks Inn have been restored as a partnership project between the River Waveney Trust and the Inland Waterways Association. Restoration began in 2015 and is due to be completed (covid permitting) in August this year, as a 2 week work party on the river.

Bernard Watson, our committed volunteer project leader for the Geldeston Locks Restoration Project, will be talking about the history of the Locks and the restoration project. The talk will be Illustrated with excellent photos, both historical and from during the restoration. It will be held in the function room, at the now community owned, Geldeston Locks Inn.
